DESCRIPTION: Magnificent hand carved, statuary white, 19th century style English marble garden pedestal and planter. The planter is "carved to death" with a classical figured processional around the bowl, mask and loop handles supported by a base of four mythological dolphins seperated by a putto. The 32" high pedestal has four pierce-carved mythical "griffin-like" creatures with an Edwardian style gentlemens head. A pair of these would definately make a statement in your garden or pool area.
